You have likely seen it in magazines and on the Today show, in fact we at Upper Tampa Bay Paddle Sportss recently appeared on Daytime TV with Cyndi Edwards demonstrating Land Paddling. Street SUP or Land Paddling is the latest thing in fitness and has come to the Tampa Bay area.
Imagine stand up paddle boarding on land, land paddling provides an excellent core, upper body as well as abdominal and leg workout.
Unlike regular skateboarding, the use of the paddle and larger board provide you a thorough total body workout including highly effective aerobic exercise.
Not to mention it is totally fun.
We paddle along safe trails and receive instruction along the way. Cost is $25 for this hour long fitness class that includes equipment rental.
All ages are welcome from 7 and up. We do require a bicycle helmet be worn and recommend knee or elbow pads.
